Special Projects
The Foundation is involved in special initiatives that impact our local communities and many other parts of our nation. These extraordinary opportunities may include some of our funding priorities.
Most recently, the Foundation created a 5-year scholarship and research based program to advance wireless engineering technology through the development of wireless engineering programs in higher education. To date, we’ve helped over 100 students in wireless technology at Auburn University, University of California at Berkeley and University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Currently, we are embarking on a new Wireless Innovation project to uncover new wireless technologies that will tackle some of the critical issues around the world, such as disaster relief, health data collection and diagnosis.
