Vodafone Americas Foundation™ is part of Vodafone’s global family of foundations. We are affiliated with Vodafone, the world’s leading mobile telecommunications company that has significant presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the United States.
In the U.S., our Foundation is located in the San Francisco Bay and the Metro Denver Areas where most of our employees live and work, and where we strive to make a positive and enduring impact on our communities.
Although we no longer accept unsolicited grant requests, we continue our presence through smaller, targeted grants in our core priorities of strengthening families, supporting children and youth; leadership development; civic participation and urban issues; the arts; and special projects.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, we recognize that there is great need throughout the region, but have chosen to focus our giving mainly in the East Bay. Our grants are most particularly in east and central Contra Costa County because they are places where our employees live and work, and because there tend to be fewer funding partners in these areas. We also support organizations based in other geographic areas that provide support and programming to east and central Contra Costa County.
Recently, we’ve added wireless technology as one of our key initiatives. Since Vodafone is in the business of wireless technology, we hope to leverage our knowledge and experience to seek new technologies that help solve some of the critical issues around the world.
